The Women's Ministry is a fellowship of all women associated with Desert Springs Bible Church. Our vision is to exalt the Lord, edify and equip women and evangelize the community. Our goal is to:
- encourage a love for God's word through Bible study;
- offer women chances to connect with each other in varied settings;
- provide times of fun and encouragement through special events.
Current Women's Ministry Programs
Newcomer's Coffee
These informal meetings provide ladies who are new or newer to DSBC with a chance to meet other ladies, enjoy a steaming cup of java, and chat with Brenda High, our Women's Director. These are held at various times throughout the year. Dates and times will be published on the website and in the weekly Sunday bulletin. Email Brenda High at for more information.
Tea With Emily
This event is a wonderful time for you to get to know Pastor Rick's wife, Emily. You will also meet other ladies who are new to DSBC, as well as women involved in Women's Ministry leadership. It's a great way to get connected with other women and to learn of upcoming events that are happening in Women's Ministries and find out how you can serve in the areas that interest you. For information about the next Tea with Emily, please email Brenda High at .
Women's Bible Studies
We offer many studies throughout the year to include women of all ages and stages. Morning and evening weekday classes are available. Weekly classes offer a great opportunity for fellowship while you study and learn from the Bible. The studies are carefully selected to meet the various needs of the women in the community and warmly envelope women who are newcomers, as well as those who fellowship with us regularly.
Summer Fun Nights
These special nights are set aside for fun! Following various themes such as "Bunco Night" and "Dinner and a Movie," these summer nights are a great chance to bring your friends and enjoy some laughs with the ladies of Desert Springs. Information will be published on the DSBC website and will also be available in the weekly Sunday bulletins. Email Brenda High at for information.
