I grew up in Ohio, attended Muskingum College with a degree in Accounting. Spent four years in Texas (were our son was born). I have over 15 years experience in Commercial Banking and also spent 8 years as CFO for a family owned telecommunications company. Currently I am a Vice President in Commercial Banking for U.S. Bank, Phoenix. I love Arizona, the Golf, the Climate, the People, Everything.
Married to my wonderful wife Cathy for 25 years. One son, TJ (Tim, Jr.) who is completing his last year at Ohio University.
Why do you serve at Desert Springs? I am passionate about Desert Springs Bible Church. It is great to see God at work in our Church. Cathy and I discovered DSBC four years ago, we immediately felt loved and have enjoyed maturing in our walk with our savior. We both grew up in Catholic Church, learned a lot but soon realized that accepting Christ as our Savior is a heart thing. The Catholic education gave me a great background but the moment I accepted Christ (it’s been over ten years), I see the bible in a completely different way. I believe the Bible is definitely inspired by God, we are not meant to understand this book completely but we are called to study it, live it, and share it. I am excited to work with such a great pastoral staff and a very dedicated leadership team. I believe we must all “Glorify God” with everything we do in life. God will challenge us, love us, guide us and lead us to eternal life with him. “Its not about us, Its all about Him."
I enjoy being involved with DSBC’s First Impressions Ministry. I assist the Greeter Ministry, New Member Ministry and the Information Booth Ministry. I also enjoy leading bible studies and assisting others to grow in their faith in Christ. I am excited to watch what God has in store for DSBC.
