Paul and Lita Cavner have been married 46 years and have five adult children and 15 grandchildren. They have been attending Desert Springs for about 16 years. Their daughter Tiffany and her husband Todd are supported in part by Desert Springs as a part of a medical mission's team in the Middle East. Another daughter, Christine and her husband Bill Pinalto is the Senior Pastor at Edgewater Baptist Church in Chicago.
Paul retired from a career in information technology in 2004 and spent the next three and a half years as a full-time volunteer on the staff of Crown Financial Ministries, serving as the Area Director for Arizona. He has made trips to Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore and Russia to teach church leaders Biblical Financial principles.
Currently he serves as a member of Desert Springs World Evangelism Committee and is Chairman of the Management Committee.
